About Paris Poster - Our Story

A Paris studio, curated by hand

Paris Poster is a fine-art poster studio based in Paris and curated by Cedric des Lauriers. The idea behind it is simple: bring the pleasure of a gallery wall into everyday homes, without the gallery price. Cedric selects every design personally, drawing on the city's deep visual culture and on a working knowledge of art history rather than a trend feed. Nothing reaches the catalogue unless it would earn a place on his own wall first.

What we curate

Our catalogue is built one theme at a time, not by chasing volume. Each collection is researched, edited, and given room to breathe, so the work that makes the cut feels intentional rather than infinite. The range spans the movements and subjects we genuinely love:

  • Art Deco and Bauhaus: clean geometry, confident type, the graphic language of the early twentieth century.
  • Vintage and travel: rediscovered poster art and destination prints that carry a sense of place.
  • Sport: a considered tennis line rooted in Roland-Garros, alongside other disciplines.
  • Japanese art: woodblock traditions and modern Japanese graphic work.
  • Botanical and kitchen: plant studies, cocktail and culinary prints for warmer rooms.

The craft

Every poster is printed on museum-quality 275gsm FSC-certified fine-art paper using giclee archival pigment inks, so colour and detail hold up over the years rather than fading after a season in the light. You can order a print rolled in a protective tube, or framed in solid oak, black, or white to suit the room it is going into. Printing on demand keeps waste low and quality consistent across the catalogue, which means the poster you receive matches the one you chose on screen.

The promise

We ship worldwide, with free shipping on orders over 49 EUR, and every order is covered by 30-day free returns, so there is no risk in seeing a piece in your own space before you commit to it. To date, customers have rated Paris Poster 4.93 out of 5 across 3,887 verified reviews - the clearest measure we have that the curation and the craft are landing.
