About Paris Poster
Paris Poster is an art-print house built on a simple belief: the right poster changes a room. Edition after edition, we gather a collection chosen for its drawing and its presence. The name marks our starting point: Paris, capital of the printed poster since the Belle Époque, from the world's fairs to the corridors of the métro, from the grand boulevards to the saleroom. That graphic inheritance is what we return to the walls of today.
It begins with a demanding edit. The catalogue moves through Art Deco and travel posters, tennis and the great sporting occasions, Japonisme and the woodblock print, vintage advertising, the cut-outs of Matisse, the geometry of the Bauhaus. A work joins the catalogue only when its composition holds on its own, quietly. Our Journal carries each theme further: the story of a movement, the hand of an artist, the life of a single image.
The print matters as much as the pick. Every poster is printed in Europe on 275 g/m² matte fine-art paper, museum grade and FSC-certified. Sizes run from 21x30 to 84x119 cm; the solid-wood frame (oak, black or white) stays optional. Shipping is free across the European Union in 2 to 6 days, with free returns within 90 days. Open edition, made to stay on the wall for years.
One person signs these choices: Cédric des Lauriers, art director, who follows every print and the balance of the whole catalogue. Take your time in the gallery, and to begin, let our Japonisme collection lead the way, one of the most followed in the house.
